This new home in Stoney Creek at Wintergreen is sure to be a true stunner. Large, numerous windows and vaulted ceilings maximize views of the surrounding forest and golf course. Some of the many features of this home include a fireplace complete with large stone wall, workout room, grilling deck, and a 2-car garage with upstairs bonus room.

We broke ground on this home in November 2023 and hope to wrap up early Fall 2024. Follow along for all the updates!

All the exterior work went quickly and smoothly, and, with drywall done and painting underway, we’ve officially entered the “it’s coming together” phase of this beautiful resort home. The homeowners’ dream was a contemporary design, and they definitely nailed it (construction pun intended). The exterior is a sharp combination of a black, standing seam metal roof and clean white siding. Later, we’ll add stone work around the foundation, giving just a slight rugged contrast to really set things off.

Along with a vaulted ceiling and TONS of glass front and back, the great room boasts an incredible, black tile fireplace that will provide comfort and inspire conversation for years to come. Speaking of tile, check out the curbless tile shower in the master bath.

This house is packed with subtle yet thoughtful features, including this grilling deck, complete with gas line connection and a view of the golf course.

There’s nothing more exciting than when the crane pulls in, because that means the roof is going up! The roof is a defining moment when a pile of lumber and nails finally looks like a house. Once the house is fully framed, we’ll turn our attention to keeping out the elements with doors, windows, siding, and a standing seam metal roof.

No ladder? No problem.

Not to worry… we rest just as hard as we work!

Footers and foundation went in just before Christmas, and our crew came back after New Year’s ready to frame. No matter rain, sleet, snow, or single digit temperatures, the floor system and most of the walls have been framed. Soon we’ll have a crane on sight setting trusses and framing the roof!
